A new group in the Latrobe Valley wants to transform a disused mine site into an agricultural hub, and is partnering with schools to get young people involved in farming. I spoke to the group's founder, Matt Lloyd, who is a beef farmer from Yinnar.

A new type of cat trap is being trialled on French Island east of Melbourne. The traps use artificial intelligence to distinguish between cats and native animals. I spoke to Dr James Smith from Bush Heritage Australia for ABC Gippsland's Breakfast program.
