I grew up on a dairy farm near Fish Creek in Victoria's Gippsland region. I've always had a passion for agriculture and the environment, as well as a broader interest in news and a need to know what's going on in the world. This is what led me to journalism.

When I'm not writing stories, I enjoy running, travelling (the photo in the background is from Sumatra), surfing, and anything that involves exploring new places.

I'm based in Melbourne at the moment but I always enjoy getting back to the farm and I'm willing to travel for a good story.
